How to get started with Online Banking at HS Bank

Online banking gives you convenient and easy access to your accounts—24 hours a day. And it's easy to get started. Here's how:
- Visit www.HastingsStateBank.com and click on "Online Banking"
- Click on "First Time User"
- Read and accept the terms
- Fill in the First Time User information:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Account number
- Account type (checking, savings, etc.)
- Security questions (We may ask on the phone to verify)
- Security answer
- Bill payment enrollment flag (not available for business accounts)
- Password (should be the last four digits of your Social Security number OR your Telebank PIN number)
- Submit.
- "Password Change" screen will appear.
- Enter your current four-digit password and a NEW eight-digit password (which must include at least two letters and two numbers).
Enter the new password twice to verify. (Keep this new password written down and in a safe place!)
- Submit.
- When the next screen appears, enter your email address twice to verify.
- An authentication image will appear.
- Under the image, type in the image for the authentication pass phrase. (You should always see the same image and pass phrase when logging in.)
- Answer the three challenge questions.
- Mark if "Personal" or "Public" computer to register or not register. If the computer is registered, the site will not ask you the challenge questions in the future.
